Club Med reopens its Achziv resort
Managers of the international resort and tour operator Club Med, including Vice-President Francois Salamon, agreed in a

meeting with Israeli Tourism Minister Avraham Hirchson, to begin redevelopment of its Achziv resort in northern Israel by the beginning

of 2007. The company will begin operating winter flights to Eilat and continue its joint campaign with the Tourism Ministry to attract French visitors

to its resort in the southern Israeli sun destination. Club Med positively views the establishment of a third Israeli resort in the city of Netanya.
