Expo 2005 Annual Conference and Trade Show
Count down to IAAPA attractions Expo starts with excitement
Monday, September 19, 2005
It is 60 days and counting, and IAAPA is eagerly preparing for the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005 Annual Conference and Trade Show, being held November 14-19, 2005 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia.

Every day we hear from more and more exhibitors about their unique products and their excitement for the 2005 showcase of new products or services, said J. Clark Robinson, president and CEO of IAAPA. It definitely fuels the excitement and energy the IAAPA staff is putting forth as we organize and prepare for the world`s largest gathering of amusement industry professionals.

Atlanta , Georgia , will host the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005 in the popular downtown area of the metropolis city known for sophistication with southern charm. The November show dates provide a true feeling of autumn as temperatures average 66 high and 44 low. Additionally, the IAAPA Attractions Expo is within walking distance of restaurants, outdoor parks, concert venues and more.
To welcome all exhibitors and attendees, IAAPA has planned a number of educational sessions and social events that will make any one feel a part of the IAAPA family. IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005 offerings include specialty educational courses focusing on different disciplines like zoos and aquariums, museums, marketing, finance and more; off-site educational lessons to locations such as CNN Atlanta, Stone Mountain, America`s Mart and Six Flags Over Georgia; the General Manager`s and Owners Breakfast with Home Depot co-founder and Georgia Aquarium benefactor, Bernie Marcus; the IAAPA Awards Presentation; the IAAPA Gala; and a charity golf tournament and silent auction benefiting Give Kids the World Village.

Don`t wait until the last minute to get excited about this great show, Robinson said in good spirits. You wouldn`t want to miss out on the fun and the anticipation!

Poll
How do you expect luxury travel to perform in times of economic downturn?.

Providers of luxury travel products are going to witness shorter stays by their customers and an increase in seasonality.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.

Both people paying for their personal trips and firms paying for their top executives' business trips will cut back on travel expenses, thus affecting all luxury travel providers.

It is going to be business as usual. Those people opting for high-end travel products are not going to be affected by the looming crisis.
