Norwegian will from the 26th of October start direct flights from Oslo and Stockholm to Dubai. This is the first low cost route from Europe to this major destination in the United Arab Emirates. The route will be served twice weekly from Oslo and thrice weekly from Stockholm, using the company’s brand new Boeing 737–800 aircrafts.

"We see no reason not to launch long haul routes based on our low cost model. Our new fleet of 737 – 800s from Boeing enables us to look even further when analyzing future markets and we aim to make good use of the opportunities the extra range gives us.
