To help maximise their exposure on third party MICE market channels
ABCevents.com announces a global agreement with Hilton Hotels
Monday, October 27, 2008
The partnership with ABCevents.com consists in the positioning of all Hilton Family of Hotels in EMEA and Asia on ABCevents.com to help maximise their exposure on third party MICE market channels.

Laurent Fuchs, Project Director at ABCevents.com says, “We at ABCevents.com are especially happy with this agreement which will greatly benefit ABCevents.com users in the sense they will now find 234 new properties, all of them perfectly adapted to hosting professional events.

Through our hotel search engine which offers search criteria by hotel chains buyers requesting Hilton Hotels with special characteristics in terms of number of rooms, meeting rooms, location or activities, will find them in a few seconds.

This significant agreement will assist Hilton in optimizing the positioning of all its hotels with a broad spectrum of planners in companies, association and agencies; the ABCevents.com concept enables any kind of planners, even those from small to medium sized companies to directly select potential hotels, send the requests for quotes and manage the answers.

The fact that Hilton, together with other important names in the tourism industry has opted for ABCevents.com is a sure sign that we are on the road to success on our aim of creating a “specialized Google “for the MICE market."

How do you expect luxury travel to perform in times of economic downturn?.

Providers of luxury travel products are going to witness shorter stays by their customers and an increase in seasonality.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.

Both people paying for their personal trips and firms paying for their top executives' business trips will cut back on travel expenses, thus affecting all luxury travel providers.

It is going to be business as usual. Those people opting for high-end travel products are not going to be affected by the looming crisis.
