This week is the first anniversary of Iberia’s first flight from Madrid to Warsaw and to Prague

In this period the Spanish airline has carried more than 54,000 passengers on the Madrid-Warsaw route, with a cabin occupancy rate of 78.16%.  In addition to Madrid, the favourite destinations of incoming passengers from Poland are Seville, Malaga, Tenerife, Valencia, Gran Canaria, Majorca, and Alicante. The most popular international Iberia destinations are Lisbon, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.

Iberia operates four weekly return flights between Madrid and Warsaw, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. They take off from Madrid-Barajas airport at 10:25 h. and land in Warsaw at 13:50 h. The return flight takes off at 14:40 h. and lands in Madrid at 18:10 h.

On the Madrid-Prague route, Iberia carried more than 60,000 passengers in the first year, with a cabin occupancy rate of 73%. Passengers from the Czech Republic are most likely to fly on with Iberia to Malaga, Seville, Alicante, Valencia, Bilbao, Jerez de la Frontera, La Coruna, Gran Canaria, and Lisbon.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.
