EMITT is one of the most important travel and tourism exhibition of the region and the biggest international tourism exhibition of Turkey. More than 50 countries from all over the world, mainly from the East Mediterranean Region, such as Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Dubai, Sharjiah, India, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kirgizstan, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Tunisia, Palestine, Greece, Russia, Sudan, Kosovo, Thailand, Cuba, Bangladesh, Switzerland  etc. participate to EMITT exhibition ever year. 

We are happy to announce that Syria is the guest country of EMITT2009.

More than 100 tour operators, 400 hotels and hotel associations, regions, municipalities from Turkey and all over the world take part at this important exhibition of the region at 10 halls about 50.000 sqm. area.

Turkish Airlines provides special rates for EMITT visitors and Exhibitors during their visit to EMITT as our official Airlines Company.

First 2 days are open only for Trade Visitors and last two days are also open for the public visitors as well.

We have also Hosted Buyer and Hosted Press program, under which we host at least 100 tour operators and representatives from Press all over the world each and every year.

How do you expect luxury travel to perform in times of economic downturn?.

Providers of luxury travel products are going to witness shorter stays by their customers and an increase in seasonality.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.

Both people paying for their personal trips and firms paying for their top executives' business trips will cut back on travel expenses, thus affecting all luxury travel providers.

It is going to be business as usual. Those people opting for high-end travel products are not going to be affected by the looming crisis.
